Capability beats Competence 100%
Organisations with 50 to 1000 people may be concentrating on hiring and training competence and not take a structured approach to capability development.
Leaders who implement a capability led approach create organisations that work together, where people are on the same page and the best talent perform important tasks. This leads reduced reliance on super-star employees, systematised approaches, more predictability, better management visibility and business focussed technology investment.
It is the key to risk management, structured growth and sustainable innovation.
E-Consulting builds alignment and company self-help
Your leadership team must be on the same page, but none of you have the time you need. There are key questions you need to answer, but the team just don't seem to be able to get to the nub of the issue unless you are in the room.
An E-Consulting approach reduces the need for time away from operations by using time-released capsules of micro learning. It builds a shared understanding and common agenda by guiding your team to create answers to strategic questions together.
Why do this?
Every organisation benefits from using a capability led approach. You should guide your team to understand, practice and invest in developing one.
You have a choice of how to do this:
-
go on as you are, and hope things change;
-
invite a big consultancy to repeatedly sell you large-scale expensive projects; or
-
enable your team to consult for themselves using E-Consulting
The E-Consulting approach to enables organisations to create their own consultants and help themselves.
